What Happens After Your Bathroom Consultation

Our To-Do List:

Order Review:

Your order goes through an intensive review by our Sales Manager and your Design Consultant to make sure we order the correct products, sizes, colors, patterns, and finishes. Every order goes through a 12-point checklist to ensure accuracy. This process insures that we get it right the first time and avoid unnecessary delays. If the Sales Manager has any questions that can’t be answered without a visit to the job site, he will request a Post-Sale inspection.

 

Post-Sale Inspection:

If your job requires a Post-Sale inspection, our Production Manager will call you and schedule an appointment at your earliest convenience to visit your home and get any additional information that is needed to process your order. Once that information is passed on to the ordering department, the order will be processed.

 

Permitting:

Because we are a NC Licensed Contractor (and it’s the law) we pull permits on every job we install. Each municipality has different guidelines for obtaining permits. We may have to drive 30 miles or more to pick up a permit. We order permits well in advance to avoid any delays.

 

Order Submission:

Products for your bathroom may be ordered from several manufacturers. Each of these manufactures has their own set of procedures and lead times. The orders are coordinated so all your products arrive in time to meet the promise date.

 

Lead-Time:

Lead times vary for different products, so your products will most likely come in at different times. Some products can take as long as 4 weeks from the time we place the order to the time our warehouse receives it.

 

Receiving:

Our warehouse tracks products that are received for your job so they know when all the products have been received. The products are checked against the original order to make sure the products match what was ordered. Some products have to be unboxed to check for accuracy. Once all of your products have been checked, the job packet is sent to the Production Manager for scheduling.

 

Scheduling:

When the Production Manager knows all products are in the warehouse and have been checked and the permits have been pulled, he is ready to give you a call to see how we can fit the installation into your schedule. The time between the call from the Production Manger and the time that will work for you may be a few weeks.

 

Installation! (Finally)

Now we are ready to install your bathroom. Your Installation Technician arrives and the process begins. Our goal is to make sure we give you the best job possible and do what it takes to give you a bathroom you will enjoy for years to come.

 

Inspections:

Typically, a job requires two inspections – a rough inspection (rough plumbing) and a final to inspect the completed job. Unfortunately we cannot control the times inspectors show up. We call inspections in to allow adequate time, but sometimes inspectors run behind, which could cause a delay.
